ASSIGN EMEM OR SWITCHER SETUP TO A SOURCE KEY
This feature allows you to assign a frequently used switcher setup
to any unused Source key, and recall that setup whenever that
Source key is pressed. This feature is even further enhanced by
the ability in version 8.1 to have different configuration files,
and therefore different cross-point assignments, associated with
each EDL Bin.
TIMELINE CONTROL OF THE GV 2200, 3000, 4000, & ABEKAS
8100/8150 SWITCHER

the Abekas 8100/8150 Switcher Timelines just like you would a
VTR. PLAY, STOP, REW, FF, Jog, Frame-by-Frame advance and retard,
Variable Speeds, Fill and Match are among the functions allowed
with this new feature.

without affecting the amount of current EDL space available.

type, or R-Mark.
ENABLE/DISABLE EMEM GV 2200, 3000, 4000 EFFECTS LEVELS
FROM SUPER EDIT
Super Edit will allow the editor to directly control which Effects
Levels are enabled on the switcher panel of the Grass Valley 2200/3000/4000
switchers, thereby defining what levels are learned and recalled
in EMEM registers. This same control extends to the Auto-Run and
Auto-Enable buttons. You must have the latest version of switcher
software for this feature to operate correctly.
NEW PEGS TIMELINE! - PEGS REFERENCED TO TIME CODE OR

GV MODEL 200 AUX BUS PREVIEW / ABEKAS A82/A83 AUX BUS
PREVIEW
With GV Model 200 series switchers and Abekas A82 or A83 switchers,
you may now preview on an AUX BUS. This allows you to monitor
your Pre-read edits in either Preview or Record directly on your
Program monitor without the need for a preview switcher. You have
the option of selecting which AUX BUS and which Program cross-point
to use. This new feature also gives you Preview Pre-selector capability.
If you SWAP your Recorder, the re-routing of the R-VTR signal
path to the Program monitor is automatic.
1.44MB DISK CAPABILITY W/AUTO DETECT - RT11
Super Edit can now import and export EDLs directly from and to
High Density 1.44 MB floppy disks as well as the current 720K
disks, and automatically detect the difference. Floppy drive must
be 1.44 MB compatible (Most are. Check with Editware to see if
yours is. If not, we have many solutions.)
PRE-READ FROM/TO R-VTR
In Version 8, Super Edit users can now transition directly from
and to the R-VTR for Pre-read edits, without having to use a separate
Source cross-point dedicated to the R-VTR.
PRE-READ VERIFY AT RECD & PVW TIME
You can now be confident that when Super Edit says Pre-read is
on during a preview or record, it truly is, even when a VTR has
been switched to local and back.
LEARN GV E-MEM FROM SWITCHER - [SHIFT][L]
Learn and assign an EMEM in any GV switcher directly from the
VPE keyboard by pressing [SHIFT][L].

or by a defined amount of frames, with a single keystroke.

"-1" setting will keep the GPI contact closed for the
duration of the edit.

ZAXCOM DMX-1000 E-MEM STORE AND RECALL & AUDIO PITCH
CONTROL

VPE EDL. Also, when you send a PM speed command to a device from

is also instructed to correct the audio pitch simultaneously (Must
have the TruePitch option in the mixer).
